Well-defined eyebrows bring out your gorgeous eyes and totally polish off your look! Here are four super quick and simple steps to grooming your eyebrows to perfection.
1. Get Them Professionally Shaped.
Start off on the right foot and get your eyebrows waxed or threaded by someone who has experience finding the natural shape of their clients’ brows. Letting a pro determine what shape would best suit your face will save you a ton of time and stress in the long run!
Sweeping a color onto your brow bone that is a couple of shades lighter than your skin tone will really make your eyes pop and your brows stand out. You can opt for a shimmery shadow, a cream or crayon formula, go the more classic route with a matte shade… the choice is yours!
3. Define and Fill In.
This is the trickiest part, but totally worth it once you get it down! Take a shadow or brow powder that matches the color of your eyebrows (or kick it up a notch and go a little bit darker) and fill those babies in! I like to etch out my shape first along the bottom to get a crisp and clean line, and then go ahead and fill in the rest of my brows with an angle brush, using short strokes. I also like to ensure that I do this step after highlighting instead of before, so I don’t run the risk of smudging any of the lines I’ve just made. The photo below is of my brows after I’ve outlined the bottom edge.
4. Ready, Set, Go.
Once your brows are filled in to your liking, make sure they stay in place by setting them with a brow gel or a clear mascara. This will ensure that your hard work lasts all day long!
